Peter Nashel composed the score for the latest Bushmills spot, extending his multi-year creative streak with director Jake Scott. This time around, they tackled a dark, highly cinematic premise: a tense, hold em’ game between Danny Boyle and the Devil himself.

To give the showdown its authentic Irish grit, we brought in Jonathan Dinklage (our favorite Dinklage, of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Station Eleven, and Beasts Of The Southern Wild fame) to handle the featured fiddle work. His performance provides an eerie Irish trad energy that perfectly underlines the stakes of playing cards with the ultimate trickster.
