For our latest music supervision project, we connected rockstar DJ Steve Aoki with Pucker Vodka and created a custom remix of “Ladi Dadi”, a track from Steve’s current album Wonderland, to underscore this vivid TV and web campaign through Euro RSCG Chicago. Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011Jack Livesey’s latest song collaboration “Come Fly Away,” now has an official music video.
Jack both produced and co-wrote the track with Canadian folk/pop recording artist, Jeremy Fisher, for his new album, Flood.
The video was crafted by Fisher over the course of several months and it shows off his rare mastery of an old favorite…… Lite Brite.
‘More Birthdays’ Site Launches

duotone collaborator Louis Schwadron (Sky White Tiger) is performing this Monday at Mercury Lounge. Louis and the band are sure to please as they blend seventies progressive, eighties synth rock and a modern sonic aesthetic into a unique and imaginative show.
Opening for Sky White Tiger is Sid Finch (formerly The Trousers) on at 9 with SWT headlining at 10.

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010Up-and-coming artist Louis Schwadron (Sky White Tiger) has begun collaborating with duotone to create fresh new music for commercials and beyond. After years of working with such artists as Rufus Wainwright, David Bowie, Elton John, Queen, Ray Charles and Duncan Sheik, Louis is now focusing on leading his own band, Sky White Tiger. A Juilliard graduate and a multi instrumentalist, Louis brings a unique and versatile sound and style to every project. Influenced by seventies progressive, eighties synth rock and modern sonic pioneers such as Radiohead, SWT’s sound is not part of a specific scene or style, and has been described as endlessly imaginative and conceptual.
Sky White Tiger has upcoming shows at at Spike Hill in Williamsburg on March 18th (11pm), Cake Shop LES Manhattan on March 22 (9:30pm) and Hotel Cafe in LA on April 5th (8pm)

Melanie Fiona’s Album Drops
Wednesday, November 11th, 2009Universal Motown Recording artist and duotone collaborator Melanie Fiona drops her debut album The Bridge this week. In preparation for the album release, Fiona has spent the last few months performing on talk shows such as Carson Daly and Wendy Williams and is set to open for Kanye West on his European tour.
In August, Fiona teamed with duotone to record a new and modernized version of Edith Piaf’s classic “La Vie En Rose” for a tv campaign for Martini’s newest product, “Rosato” (Europe only). The spot is currently in high rotation throughout Europe and the track is available on iTunes (again, Europe only).

Saturday, August 8th, 2009We recently completed a European-wide broadcast campaign for Martini’s newest product, “Rosato.” Directed by Michael Haussman, the campaign centers around a new, modernized version of Edith Piaf’s classic La Vie En Rose. As part of our ongoing effort to break down boundaries, we created a complete music strategy including artist integration for the agency. duotone identified emerging Universal Records recording artist Melanie Fiona and teamed with her to sing the song both in its commercial version and as a separately distributed single.
Ultimately, the song will be be used for several TV and radio advertisements. In addition, Melanie will be doing launch events for the product throughout Europe, which dovetails with the release of her album there.

Pete Miser

duotone’s resident DJ/producer Pete Miser spent part of his summer in Japan where, among other things, he played sold out shows at Le Baron in Tokyo.
Now back in NYC, Miser is busy co-writing with Imani Coppola, one half of the duo Little Jackie and finishing work on his forthcoming CD.
